All Guest Battery Switches safely provide battery disconnection, isolation of all circuits, and conform to USCG safety standard 183.410 for ignition protection. This makes them ideal for most marine applications. They isolate the battery in case of fire to help prevent the spread of flame. The ABYC requires that all marine vessels with 800 cranking amps or more have a battery switch installed. Each switch is built to handle the toughest marine environments out there. The Heavy Duty Selector switches battery bank 1, or bank 2, or both, to a single load using one switch (32-V Max). Choosing the right battery switch for your application is not an easy task.
